PRODUCTS
At Rocca di Montemassi, you will find vineyards that are at least 15 years old, mostly dedicated to the cultivation of two prominent grape varieties that acquire a true “Maremma” identity in these lands: Vermentino and Sangiovese. Alongside these varieties, other grapes such as Syrah, Viognier, Merlot, Cabernet Franc, Cabernet Sauvignon, and Petit Verdot achieve remarkable results in this area.
OUR WINES
ROCCA DI MONTEMASSI
A great Tuscan red that represents the pinnacle interpretation of the terroir of this area. This wine combines the warmth of the land, the intense aromas of nature, and the refreshing breezes from the sea. It is a wine of character, endowed with great finesse and balance, showcasing the best that Maremma has to offer. The grape varieties that compose it are Cabernet Sauvignon, Petit Verdot, and Syrah.

SASSABRUNA

Le Focaie, primarily Sangiovese with a small percentage of international grape varieties, takes its name from the “focaie stones” found throughout the Maremma territory. It captivates with its spicy notes and a soft, very pleasant sip.

Next, we have the estate’s white wine, Calasole, whose name refers to the sea breeze that rises at “sundown” along the Maremma coast. It is produced with 100% Vermentino grapes, a variety that defines the area, and it is aged exclusively in stainless steel to preserve and enhance its fresh varietal aromas.

VIOGNIER
Viognier is made from 100% Viognier grapes cultivated in the estate's vineyards located in the municipality of Roccastrada. It has a brilliant golden yellow color. On the nose, it is intense and complex, featuring delicate balsamic notes that alternate with hints of vanilla. Fragrant on the palate, this wine boasts excellent structure; it is delicately aromatic with a pleasant salty and mineral vein and a beautiful persistence.
